The Coffee Bean is definitely a step up from Starbuck’s or any of the other chains in Suzhou. The coffee is cheaper and there are a lot more snacks available. We have no problem describing the sandwiches, salads, and pastas as the closest thing to gourmet that you will find outside of an overpriced hotel restaurant. For now you’ll have to make due with just two locations, one inside the SIP’s Carrefour and the other over on the other side of town at Emerald City.
