In amongst all the oldness of Pingjiang Old Street there is Archi Garden. This ultra slick and modern café and bar still retains the flavor of classical Suzhou architecture. In addition to the beverages, Archi is a library of architectural design, focusing on Pingjiang road. Most of those books are in Chinese, but they are full of photographs. There are little things to buy as well. You should also check out the four ultra modern all white rooms.
