Jannie Kloster “Whole” exhibition will be held in Suzhou Le Pont des ARTS Gallery from March to May.
Jannie Kloster uses strong colours and really wants with them to attract our attention. At the first sight her compositions seem very simple. But if you look closely those full bodied cats may have several other lives, and show a whole portrait of the animal world.
This way of painting reflects two main aspects of Kloster’s thinking. The first one, By meeting with so many people of different backgrounds and from so many different parts of the globe, we change in a very positive way, being more able to understand others. The other message from her is more obvious, she loves animals and nature, she wants to take more care about our environment and the entire living thing inside. We are nothing without them
