MORE Suzhou Magazine is an independent, freely distributed print magazine circulated in Suzhou. It is funded by advertising. This website is the online version. For a little more information please see the About Us page.

MORE Suzhou Magazine is made by a surprisingly small number of people all of whom live in Suzhou and have been here for many years. If you would like to contact us directly, please use the contact us form.

Places come and go faster than the weather changes. We are sincerely sorry for wasting your time. The Team here hopes that you will let us know which venue has gone, or if it has moved, let us know where.

Are there any jobs available at MORE Suzhou Magazine?

We will post any available jobs in the classifieds pages. Be warned: Much of the work here is done on a volunteer basis for love.

Can I suggest a listing?

Of course. The more the merrier. Please contact us, although it might take a few days for us to visit and upload/print.

Where can I get MORE Suzhou Magazine?

We distribute in most 4 and 5 star hotels, gyms, bars, restaurants and other places, in total over 250 locations. If you don't see it at your hotel, please ask at the front desk as many have policies that prohibit the display of magazines in the main lobby.

How can I put my event in your Magazine?

The events listings are for venues only. If you are a venue with an up-and-coming event, please contact us with your venue name, event name, period of event, contact details, and graphics/images to be included. We cannot guarantee that your event will be listed though.

How can I subscribe to your Magazine?

Please see our subscription page. For the time being, a subscription is free and magazines are sent out using the Post Office Printed Matter service. Delivery times are a little awry. If you require speedier delivery, please contact us.

Can I write for MORE Magazine?

Possibly. Please see our editorial page.

How many places do you distribute MORE Suzhou Magazine?

Over 250 points of distribution, including 50 foreign firms, and we have an extensive mailing list.

When is MORE Suzhou Magazine released?

Before the first Friday of each month.

How do you use my registration details?

We won't give any information to any third party, ever. You will be added to our events email list unless otherwise stated. The events email is sent out using a BCC address line in order to hide your email address.

How often do you update information on this website?

As often as we can. With your help, even more often.

How can I put my event on your website?

The events listings are for venues only. If you are a venue with an up and coming event please write contact us. with your Venue name, event name, period of event, contact details, and graphics/images to be included. We cannot guarantee that your event is listed.
If you are not an established venue, please use the classifieds pages and/or forum.

Can I link to your website?

Yes please do. If you would like a logo, please contact us. Depending on certain requirements, we may be able to link to you too.

Currently we do not offer paid-for advertising space on our weekly email. If there is sufficient demand we may begin to offer this service. Please let us know if you are interested.

Forum and Classifieds

How long will my classified ad stay on your Website?

30 days. You can remove it. You will be advised by email when your ad is about to run out and you can renew for another 30 days. You can renew as many times as you like.

Why has my classifieds post been removed from the site?

Unlike some sites, we allow commercial postings and personals. If we remove a post, it will be for a good reason in line with our policies, and where possible we will notify you why. If you want further details, please contact us. Please note that repeat offenders will be barred from the site.

Why is my post not showing on the forum?

Two main reasons. 1. If it is off topic, we will move it to the correct topic or even use it to start a new one. 2. As with many sites these days, we police visitor content carefully. If we remove a post, it will be for a good reason in line with our policies, and where possible we will notify you why. If you want further details, please contact us. Please note that repeat offenders will be barred from the site.

Can I moderate the forum?

Possibly. If you think you will be a good moderator, please let us know why.

How can I put my event in your events email?

If you are a venue owner or manager, please write to us. We cannot include all events, and so have certain requirements that need to be met.

How can I be removed from your events email address list?

Can I have access to your email address list?

Under no circumstance. If you want to list on our weekly email, please contact us.

Can I advertise on your events email?

Possibly - we always want to increase our depth of circulation. Please contact us.
